Accessibility Statement
Fit 2 Practise wants everyone to be able to use this website and our courses, including people who are disabled, neurodivergent, living with a health condition or going through a stressful time. This statement explains what we do, the standard we aim for, anything we know is not yet accessible, and how to get help.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard recommended for UK websites. We regularly test the site with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard, screen magnification and on mobile.
What you should be able to do
- Use the whole website with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Use a screen reader such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver or TalkBack: pages use proper headings, landmarks, labelled form fields and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Zoom text up to 400% and use the site on any screen size without content being cut off.
- Read text with sufficient colour contrast; links in text are underlined so they do not rely on colour.
- Turn off animation: the site respects your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Work through courses at your own pace, with no time limits on lessons or quizzes, and pick up where you left off.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
Known limitations
We know some parts of the website are not yet fully accessible:
- Course videos: some older videos do not yet have accurate captions or transcripts. We are adding them, and can send you a transcript of any video on request.
- Downloadable PDFs: some older PDF resources may not be fully accessible to screen readers. Every resource is also available as an accessible web page, and we can provide other formats on request.
- Third-party services: card payments happen on Stripe's checkout page and course videos are played by Vimeo or YouTube. These are designed to be accessible, but we do not control them.
Asking for help or another format
If you need information on this website in a different format, such as large print, an accessible document, a transcript or plain text, or if you need a reasonable adjustment to take part in a course or mentoring session, email hello@fit2practise.com or use our contact form. We will reply within 5 working days.
Reporting accessibility problems
We are always looking to improve. If you find a problem that is not listed on this page, or you think we are not meeting the standard, please tell us at hello@fit2practise.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will fix it or find another way to give you what you need.
If you are not happy with our response
Under the Equality Act 2010 we must make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared in September 2026 and will be reviewed at least once a year and whenever we make significant changes to the website. The site was last tested in September 2026 using automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks on every page type, at desktop and mobile sizes, together with manual keyboard testing.
