Module 3: Preserve Safety

This module focuses on your responsibility to protect patient and public safety — a central pillar of the NMC Code.

We’ll look at what it means to work within your competence, act quickly when something goes wrong, and raise concerns when necessary. You’ll be guided to reflect on any situations where safety may have been compromised — or could have been — and how you responded.

Through case examples and self-assessment questions, you’ll consider how to demonstrate awareness, accountability, and learning if safety issues were part of your FtP case.
