Course Description
This in-depth course explores the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct and how it applies to professional reflection and the Fitness to Practise process. Split into four focused modules — one for each principle of the Code — the course guides healthcare professionals through practical and ethical interpretations of the standards, helping learners connect the Code to their own actions and reflections.
Each module includes a comprehensive quiz to reinforce understanding, and learners are encouraged to complete reflection activities throughout. This course can be taken on its own or as a companion to Reflection Writing for the Fitness to Practise Process.
The course supports those looking to demonstrate insight, maintain professional standards, and meet revalidation or remediation expectations effectively.
Certification
Upon completion of all four modules and quizzes, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in Applying the NMC Code to the Fitness to Practise Process. This certificate can be used as evidence of professional development and reflective learning, and may support revalidation or FtP remediation work.
